This week, Warlord Wednesdays is taking a quick break as we add a new landing page, update some of our older content, and make sure we’re set up to move forward to new and exciting articles that we hope you’ll enjoy. Read on to see what’s new, what’s changed, and what’s coming next for Goonhammer’s Adeptus Titanicus coverage.
What’s New
Wondering where Legion Focus: Tempestus got to? Have some questions about how to pilot a Reaver Titan? Looking for a maniple that suits your playstyle? Our new landing page is your one-stop shop for everything Titanicus-related, bringing together all of our Warlord Wednesdays articles in a single place for ease of navigation. As we continue to flesh out this column and add new content, we’ll add it to the landing page, so stay tuned to that space if you want to be up to date with all of our Titanicus content as we release it.
What’s Changed
As new releases come out and the design space of the game is better explored, we’re realized that it’s time to go back and update our initial articles to fill them out and bring them up to date with the current state of the game. To that end, we’re updating our earlier articles both to include new content that’s released in Shadow and Iron, as well as to make some clarifications and changes to incorporate FAQs, errata, and just new tricks we’ve picked up since they were originally published. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be pushing through to update these earlier articles, starting with our Introduction to Titanicus, moving through the Legion Overviews and Maniple Overview, then moving through to our various unit focus articles. Once that’s done, we’ll take a pass through our earlier Legion Focus articles to make sure they’re up to date with Shadow and Iron’s new tricks.
Due to other commitments, it’s likely to take us a few weeks to get through all of these. We really appreciate you bearing with us as we review and update these articles to make sure they’re current. Right now, we’ve finished the Introduction article, and will have our updated Legion Overviews and Maniple Overview ready to go soon.
What’s Next
We’re still moving through the Legion Focus series, and will be picking that up again next week. We’re also working on a Warbringer focus, some guidance on effectively choosing and using stratagems, and a few other key areas in the game. If you’ve been wondering when your legion of choice will be getting its time in the spotlight, don’t worry. We’re working our way through them week by week, and intend to hit them all eventually. We’ve got some other ideas for longer term stuff in the pipe, including approaches to list-building, advice on how to run campaigns, and our thoughts on how to use terrain to build a table that’s fun to play around. Those articles are probably a bit further out, but rest assured that we’ll still be here even after we finish the Legion Focuses.
Thanks for sticking with us and reading these articles. All of us on the Warlord Wednesdays crew love this game, and it’s great being reminded that there are so many of you out there who love building, painting, and playing Titanicus as much as we do. Thanks to all of you for bearing with us as we update these articles, and we’ll be back next week with another Legion Focus.
