Ever since the nerfs to Plaguebearers, Skeletons, and Arkanauts, Warcry players around the world have been gravitating to lists featuring 7-9 models. It makes sense as a plan, with the current math of the game crying out that you should be giving the +1attack blessing to your favorite high-damage fighters and calling it a day. However, Winter has come to Warcry, and with it we have with recent tournament wins by Kruleboyz Monstakillaz rocking 12-model Egg Grot spam, Wildercorps pressing “send” on 14 dog lists, and finally Tarantulos sporting 15 spiders and spider-wranglers.
The swarm invasion has me wondering whether the tournament community has been undervaluing bodies and activations, so I ran some numbers. In this video I’ll talk about the relative success of going higher in model count, before transitioning into a tierlist of the factions who can flood the board most effectively.
