We’ve been hard at work on updates to Tabletop Battles and today we’re excited to announce a massive update featuring not one but two huge new features.
If you’re not already familiar with our app, Tabletop Battles is the premier way to log your games of Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, Conquest, Horus Heresy, and now Kill Team. It’s completely free and you can download it via the links below.
Note: If you already have an Administratum account, that login will also be your Tabletop Battles login – just use the same account you’ve already made. If you are creating a new account, you can use that account for Administratum later! You don’t have to log in, but you will need to in order to access some of the new features.
Alright, let’s get to the new features.
The Kill Team Update
Just in time for the 2024 World Championships, we’ve updated the app to support the new edition of Kill Team. Create games and events, then track those games, using the app to track your Command Points, Ops, and Kill Grade.
The app will dynamically calculate scoring for you on things like Kill Grade and supports secret Op selection for both players, making it easy to track your known knowns and known unknowns. There are still some features we want to add to this and some updates we need to make, but the app will give you everything you need to start tracking your games today.
The 2024 Grand Narrative Update
We’ve also updated Tabletop Battles with support for the 2024 Grand Narrative missions! If you’re playing at the event in-person this weekend or if you just want to play along at home, you can replicate the event yourself with the same missions. Starting tomorrow you’ll be able to create a new event using the Grand Narrative 2024 Template. If you can’t wait that long, just create a new event and select “Kessandras” as your mission pack.
After that, just set the dates for the event and create the games. Wait, what’s this?
Locked? That’s right, the missions for the 2024 Grand Narrative will be hidden until they’re revealed LIVE to players at the Grand Narrative. So you’ll discover the missions as they become available. Or if you’re playing this in the future after the event has ended, they’ll just already be unlocked. So that’s good too.
We’re incredibly excited about this release, and we hope you’re as excited as we are about these new features and the events coming up this week.
