Start Competing: Tyranids Tactics
The Tyranids are a race of ravenous, inscrutable aliens from beyond the stars. Drawn to our galaxy – and Earth – by the psychic beacon of the Astronomicon, the Tyranids devour everything in their path, stripping entire planets down to inert, lifeless rocks, using their collected biomass to further fuel their invasion. In battle, the Tyranids use potent, symbiotic bioweapons to attack their foes, shooting everything from bioplasma to acid mucous to borrowing pests capable of drilling through armor. And each time the Tyranids fall in battle or devour a new world, they learn and adapt, becoming more potent in the process.
Faction Overview
The Tyranids represent the true threat to the galaxy of Man, acting as an unstoppable force devouring everything in their way. On the battlefield they can be played in myriad ways, from swarms of recurring bugs to small groups of massive monsters. The can be tooled out for melee, striking from the shadows or launching themselves across the battlefield, set up for long-range shooting with their living bioweapons, or even used to enact psychological terror, attacking enemy Leadership.
