We’re constantly working on ways to improve the Tabletop Battles app and this week we’re pleased to announce the release ofĀ Mission Briefings,Ā a new feature sponsored by the Art of War team.
If youāre asking āWhatās Tabletop Battles?ā itās our proprietary app for tracking games ā we currently support Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, and Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings. And you better believe weāre working on support for Kill Team – stay tuned for that in a few weeks. If you havenāt downloaded it yet, go ahead and grab it because itās by far the best way to track games out there ā just use one of the links below.
Note:Ā If you already have anĀ AdministratumĀ account, that login willĀ alsoĀ be your Tabletop Battles login ā just use the same account youāve already made. If you are creating a new account, you can use that account for Administratum later!
Alright, letās get into the updates proper and show off what weāve been doing:
Pariah Nexus Mission Briefings
Want to know more about a mission than just scoring parameters? Well now we’ve got you covered withĀ Mission Briefings,Ā sponsored by the Art of War. For every mission in the Pariah Nexus Tournament Companion – all twenty lettered missions, you’ll notice a new icon next to the mission in the app when you create your game:
Just click on that “Play” icon next to the mission and you’ll pull up the Mission Briefing. Each briefing is a 2-3 minute video that covers the basics of the mission – how scoring works, the special rules, and the deployment map.
But that’s only half the story: Each briefing also includes a special intel briefing from the Art of War team, offering tips and tricks for playing both the primary mission and the mission’s special rules. These go beyond just the rules by helping you contextualize what these rules mean, and get you in the right mindset for your game.
We’re pretty proud of these briefings and we think players are going to find them super helpful for a quick refresher before each game. They’re free to access in the app, and the feature is live as of this writing so feel free to go ahead and start checking them out.
Of course, we’d like to thank our good friends over at the Art of War for working on this with us – there was a ton of work to do here and it wouldn’t have been possible without their help. If you’re interested in even more in-depth analysis, you can check out their bigger series on game missions over in the War Room.
