The end of the year is coming up quick for everyone, and that includes the Necromunda team here at Goonhammer, delivering you quality and timely Necromunda content on as many Necromundays as we can.
The team put out a lot of work this year, too much and too varied for us to list all of it here, so we’ve narrowed down our Year in Review to just the big swings across the big releases.
- Back in May, Spryers in the Underhive looked at the first big reveal of the Hive Secundus season, the (re-)addition of Spryers to the game. Come August, we got our hands on the Spyrer Hunting Party Gang Guide and the Spryer models themselves.
- Hive Secundus itself was released in late July; we unboxed the box and looked at the rules and the models. When the Tactics Card pack update came out in August, we updated our article on Necromunda Tactics Cards to account for them.
- Also in August, The Book of Desolation hit shelves, giving players more freeform and open-ended ways to use the materials in the previous two bullet points; we loved it, and wrote over 13,000 words telling you why, along with how to use it.
- We put out less release-focused materials as well, like a roundtable on which gang you should choose as a Necromunda player just starting out in 2024, and a guide on how to start and run your own Necromunda campaign that isn’t one just out of the box.
- From March to August, Battle Bros Season Four told the tale of Chris and Drew’s triumphs and tragedies through playing Necromunda this year.
- And obviously, important coverage of Grapplehonk and Cyber-Badger.
We’re gearing up for a big 2025 in Necromunda, so stay tuned to this space, and let us know about anything you especially want to see covered down in the comments!
