After a very popular re-introduction in 2021, Kill Team received a new, second(?) edition in 2024, giving us new, updated core rules and streamlining the game’s teams. Although Kill Team uses the same models as those you’d see in Warhammer 40k, it’s very much its own game – in Kill Team players control a single squad or team of models, and alternate activating those models during a game. Kill Team is a fun game that takes less time and investment than 40k (games usually run an hour and a half), with a ton of strategic depth and some fantastic models.
