We’ve been big fans of the Star Wars miniatures games – from X-Wing and Armada to Legion and Shatterpoint. You may have seen some of our coverage of these games, especially today. They’re pretty great, and worth checking out.
Something we’ve been battling with recently is how we can make it easier to find content on Goonhammer – with nearly seven thousand articles published over the last five years, it’s become increasingly difficult to find older content, and at times it feels like a website of daily articles is not the best format for longform content intended to be useful and re-read for more than a year. And given that today is May the Fourth, we figured we’d launch our first new subsite for Star Wars games.

We’ll still keep publishing articles for Star Wars games here on Goonhammer, but if you’re looking for Star Wars coverage and only Star Wars coverage, you’ll find it on our new site – starwars.goonhammer.com (or goonhammer.com/star-wars, if you prefer). It’s not the only content-specific site we’re planning to launch, but with four games to cover and a decent amount of content for older games plus the notable date it felt like a good candidate to be the first such site.
So give the new site a look, and if you have any questions or feedback for us, let us know – we’ll be looking for ways to improve the layout and make things more accessible as we build the next one.
