Age of Sigmar 3.0 is almost here and starting this week we’ll be covering the new rules and the brand new Dominion boxed set featuring the Age of Sigmar 3.0 rulebook. There’s a ton to cover, and rather than try and rush something out today we’re going to devoting a full week to coverage for the game, from rules to narrative play to painting and modeling to the impact of the new edition on factions.
Similar to what we did for 40k with our 9th edition coverage, we’ve added a new page for Age of Sigmar 3.0, which you can access via the “Age of Sigmar 3.0” button on the right hand side of the page. Clicking on that bad boy will take you to a directory of all the content we have planned over the coming weeks – and I do mean weeks: We all know the General’s Handbook and FAQs are just around the corner, and there will be a ton to talk about with AoS in the coming weeks as we try and puzzle out the full impact of the rules and how they affect every faction.
In the meantime, stay tuned today for the start of our coverage – we’ll be giving a quick review of the rules in the new Core Book, talking about our first impressions of the rules, then hosting a round table of our AoS players talking about their impressions and reactions to the new content. We’ve also got an unboxing and review for the new Dominion boxed set and a review of the new datasheets in the box for Stormcasts and Kruleboyz. Then check back tomorrow for an intro to the new Path to Glory rules and the first in our Ruleshammer series of articles covering different phases and aspects of the game’s rules.
We’ll have new AoS content for you every day, so keep checking back. We hope you’re as excited about the new edition as we are.
