Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
On the Internet at Large
Halloween is close at hand and we’ve got a bumper of miniature horrors to inflict on you all. So lets waste no time in getting started eh? First up with got a rather portentous porcine pummeller from tom paint’n’build on Instagram, using the rotundness of a Nurgle Blightking and a sculpted pig’s head to give their Corpse Grinders a leader that’d look right at home a Sawyer Family Dinner.
Next up we delve into a bit of folk horror with this piece by steve’s paint brush, a eerie forest shrine to a malevolent spirit. There’s so much wonderful texture to this piece, from the frayed ropes keeping the remains in place to the rusting chains and mossy monolith.
Next up we enter the Lenoon-zone with a pair of pieces from totally_not_panicking, both of which can best be describe as Things. The first a little more eldritch and the second deeply uncomfortable, both utterly wonderful in their grody, fleshy way.
To close us out, we’ve got a triple threat from user moldmoldmold, taking 40k Xenos to unnervingly organic new places. Coral, teeth and tumours are not an aesthetic we’d ever consider before, but it works so damn well at giving the 41st millennium’s extra-terrestrials a truly alien feel.
