The Celestial Hurricanum is one of those late WHFB models that really has held up even about a decade later and paintjobs like Skits’ here do it serious justice. Particularly love the attention given to the orrery, and the smooth NMM green on the horses’ barding.
Uncle Isstvan’s Light-Rigged Monolith

Wiring a miniature full of LEDs is one of those cool gimmicks that we always love to see, especially considering the delicate conversion work and multi-disciplinary skill it takes to pull off. This example goes even further beyond by adding a plasma ball in place of the nu-Monolith’s Particle Whip generator, right out of every 90’s kids’ bedroom.

Just in time for the Heresy release weekend comes this blast from the past, one of the original Traitor Marines from Rogue Trader in the modern Sons of Horus colours. The vibrant sea-green manages to both capture the saturated vibes of the early 40k era and the modern scheme in a perfect blend of both.
