Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
On the Internet at Large
This column is quickly becoming the groundeffected power hour, but can you blame us? Another cool RC conversion, this time suping up the Ruckatrukk Squigbuggy. Look at it go!
The FULL CHAPTER of Doom Legion space marines
by u/mbutt01 in Warhammer40k
Full Chapter collections are always cool as hell, but for a lesser known Chapter like the Doom Legion? That’s some serious dedication right there.
Just finished my biggest ever project and could not be happier with how it turned out!

Knights? Cool as hell. Knights that fully lean into the Knight part of their name with giant impractical weapons? Cooler still. This Knight in particular? Kickin’ rad.

Ouch, that’s gotta hurt. Not the having your guts ripped out part, being killed by a Neurogaunt. Right in the ego. And having it be such a beautifully minty crisp rendition of Hive Fleet Tiamet’s colours? A beautifully painful way to go out.

This is the only way I’m ever gonna visualise Volkites firing any more. It’s canon now, James Workshop told me personally.

This Week on Goonhammer
Goonhammer Reviews
A dignified sort of week for reviews, with the Historicals Goons looking at multiple eras of French Infantry, while Lenoon takes a moment to read through the newest Warhammer Crime novel, King of the Spoil.
Competitive Play
A strange week for 40k as we start with Complete Elven Saturation only for the nerf hammer to come down hard immediately after. In addition to all that we take a look at the week in competitive Age of Sigmar, how to improve your coaching skills in Blood Bowl, how to get the best of your Phobos Kill Team and the best practices to annoy the hell out of the nearest Assault Mech with Battletech’s Commando.
Painting and Modelling
A bumper week for Hobby content as Hobby 101 covers the ins and outs of Priming, How to Paint Everything covers Fallout’s Brotherhood Outcasts, Marvel’s Moon Knight and Blade, Frosthaven, and how to get the best results for your Star Wars Shatterpoint terrain.
Other Cool Stuff
Lore Explainer continues with a look at the realm of Gondor and it’s history, we have a hands-on first look at the new Age of Sigmar RTS: Realms of Ruin and The Narrative Forge stokes up once again the first of a series on how to craft and run your very own Narrative Events.
