Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.
On the Internet at Large
Starting this week off we’ve got our annual tribute to the absolutely cracked out painting wizards of the Gunpla scene. This comic book/manga style of highlighting and heavy lines has been seen a few times in Warham spaces, but holy damn it works so well on the sharp edges and deep crevasses of a Gundam kit. Good gosh.
YaezakiSumiso’s Ghost Syndicate
Speaking of comic books, with just a simple headswap to some of the skulls from the Citadel Skulls kit, these Delaque gangers gain a striking look fitting of any comic book badguy organization. We especially love the high contrast clean look of the paint job.
Gliding across the battlefield like a deadly can of AriZona, we’ve got this gorgeously freehanded Wave Serpent from jopaceart. We’re always a fan of seeing what people come up with when decorating the Falcon/Devilfish vehicles, with those big open panels giving such a canvas.
Sometimes when we’re searching through our CWL suggestions, we see a post from Lenoon or Lupe and hesitate to open it. It’s gonna be awesome, it’s gonna be a triumph of miniature artistry, but it’s also gonna make us suffer. So here we are once again, caught between wanting to admire the sheer talent and effort that went into this, but not wanting to look directly at it as our eyes reflexively water. Hell… yeah?
