Content We Liked: 30th June, 2024

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Lets close this month out by wishing Age of Sigmar’s 3rd edition a fond farewell. Ricki Kitbashed’s Ghoulmere project kicks real ass, and this Dark Manticore is the kind of seamless, perfect kitbash we’re jealous of. A real proclick if we ever posted one.

Crossing over to the 41st millennium, we have these pretty rad Sword Brethren Black Templars from Voice of Kosh. They’re all in all a fantastic trio, but holy damn the writing on the banner is so neat, really making the standard pop like crazy.

Another cool conversion we saw this week, this one we dig for how hard it nails the religiosity of the Word Bearers, something we feel gets lost in official depictions. Turning those motifs that usually cover Imperial weirdos on their head for Chaos weirdos? Slick as hell.

If you’re not as terminally online as we are, you might have missed a spectacularly incoherent op-ed that was floating around miniatures spaces over the last week and a bit. We don’t recommend reading it, instead read this fantastic short piece from the ever wonderful Annie from Bad Squiddo Games, then go check out their incredible range of lady miniatures.

And Turkey Man, but we won’t talk about Turkey Man.

Oh hell yeah. If there’s one thing that tickles our brain as much as tiny soldiers, its wrestling. Expect us to lead the competitive scene in cutting promos for tournaments and forcefully unmasking shameful Elf players in the near future.
