Content We Liked: 23rd March, 2025

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Lets start this week off with a testament to how one little change can make all the difference when making a model stand out. my.little.guys on Instagram has taken one of the Slaanesh weirdos from the Underworlds Tricefold Discord gang and just… removed its tentacle hair, and immediately its 100% creepier, doubling down hard on the Cenobite vibes. Simple but so, so damn effective.

From the minimal to the maximal for our next entry this week, with Might Be Monsters on the ‘gram bringing us this grimly over the top Trench Crusade diorama. Here the over the top posing and spell effects are tied back down to earth with the sickly supernatural colour tones, contrasted with the muted palette of the Artillery Witch’s victims.

Techmagos Binary’s Tank Destroyer Shadowsword

Our third entry this week brings us somewhat of a happy medium between the camps of our previous entries, with Techmagos Binary applying a historicals lens to the 41st millennium’s biggest tank. Converting the Shadowsword to have a turret mount rather than a fixed mount isn’t the most uncommon thing, but making it an open top like a massive, oversized M36 Jackson? That’s inspired.

Ricki Kitbashed’s Hivekiller Tyrant

Oh hell yeah. The Norn Emissary is probably one of the coolest monsters Games Workshop has ever conjured up, just an absolute pinnacle of Tyranid design language, and Ricki Kitbashed on Bluesky has upped the ante by giving it a huge friggin’ gun. This owns hard, particularly popping with its high contrast monochrome/red-orange paint scheme.
