Content We Liked: 23rd February, 2023

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

This is my party and in celebration of Emperor’s Children preorders being announced like, half an hour ago we’re starting this week’s recap off with this indulgent kitbash by my.little.guys on Instagram. Its an unfortunate fact of the Chaos Daemons range that their basic kits are getting long in the tooth, and the Daemonettes are particularly feeling it. This kitbash does some amazing work marrying the best parts of the older kit with the newer Slaanesh style of the Blissbarb kit, and is so seamless to be downright witchcraft. It owns excessively.

Man can you imagine how cool it would be to be a Middle Ages monk? I mean besides all the absolutely mindshatteringly horrible parts, but getting to doodle weird critters in the margins of books as your life’s calling? That’s the life right there. Weird critters like this downright Freudian winged beast brought to miniature life by Something Wicket, detailing the process and looking a little into the book it was drawn from. Japo-Orbo’s Warhammer Quest Book Diorama

Throwing back to some of the oldest Warhammer dioramas about, Japo-Orbo on Tumblr brings us a set of really damn cool book displays harkening to Heroquest, Warhammer Quest and Mordheim. These are just a delight, a loving tribute to some of the most iconic art of all three games. Just really damn charming.

Sklavoug’s Data Analysis of the Horus Heresy Novel Series

Closing out this week’s roundup we have something… really out of our usual wheelhouse. Internet user Skavoug has applied their skills as a data analysis to breaking down the entire Horus Heresy book series along multiple different axis. Like seriously just click through this is an incredible feat of nerdery. Just click the damn link.
