Content We Liked: 22nd September, 2024

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Lets start this week on a Verminous note, with these wonderfully baroque Skaven from pax_acrylica on Instagram. We’ve seen more sci-fi takes on Skyre/Moulder before but they tend to take a “glue Mechanicus parts to a rat” approach. These go beyond that, crafting aa look that while significantly more futuristic, is retains the wonderful Skaven-y quality of the original minis.

Did you know World of Warcraft is 20 years old this November? Did you feel the skeletal hand of time on your shoulder when I said that? That chill of knowing that you never did finish your Blessed Blade of the Windseeker? Anyway, check out this take on Archaon as traitor fuccboi Arthas Menethil from Darcy Bono in all his frosty goodness and try to ignore the allure of buying a month’s worth of game time.

Oh hell yeah. Cake Art is such a delightful medium and this Rhino is just so gosh darned precious in its squished and rounded proportions. Adorable.

Goonhammer Reviews

While Hivestorm takes the spotlight this week, we also had some other cool reviews, with a look at TTCombat’s new paint range, and the This Is Some Rescue box for Star Wars Shatterpoint.
