Content We Liked: 21st April, 2023

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Starting this week off with a quick Custode, we’ve been seeing a lot of cool Custodes stuff since last week’s megaton bomb drop and we’re hoping to see even more cool stuff as the weeks go by.

Next up we’ve got a pair of absolute banger World Eaters conversions from Tumblr users Born of Erda. Like goddamn, especially the Master of Executions rocking the Flesh-Eater Court weirdo wig. Over the top in the most Warhammer of ways.

Swinging things back in the other direction with this intensely restrained take on Sly Marbo, rocking some pre-brainworms Frank Miller vibes. The extreme inky black/grey contrast with the sploshes of bright primaries works so damn well, we’re impressed on how the model retrains so much depth and texture despite utilizing such a 2d colouring technique.

Finishing this week’s quartet of quality content we have these heavy duty Iron Warriors, created by painstakingly scraping, filling and resculpting the special Plague Marine squad set released a few years ago. It works so damn well, giving the Perty’s boys an up-armoured look at kicks so much ass.
