Content We Liked: 16th February, 2024

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Tabletop digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed.

On the Internet at Large

Finished my Necromunda entry for Adepticon!

Welcome back to our weekly glimpse into the hobby world on this screaming mass of wires we call The Internet. First off this week we’ve got a banger of a figure from Snauri on Reddit of a Necromunda Slave Ogryn. This thing’s got a lot to love about it with the super saturated blues of its augmentations contrasting with the natural tones of its fleshy parts, the grime and grit you’d expect of the Underhive around him rendered strikingly without drawing attention away. But most of all, rats. Look at ’em, we love a lil’ rat friend.

Cadian VX’s Project Badzone Terrain

Keeping things in the Underhive for a second, we have Cadian VX on Bluesky bringing us “Project Badzone”, terrain pieces themed around various hazards found on the printed boards that come with Necromunda’s box set. These slap a whole lot, bringing that little bit of 3d texture to really make a board feel like a living scene. Especially the eggs and the radioactive lichen, don’t wanna touch them with a 10 foot Evicerator.

Harvey Edge’s Arbites

We regretfully inform you we like cops now. These specific space cops by Harvey Edge on Bluesky, who puts a spin on the typical Arbites uniform with the addition of some eye-catching red shades along the right-hand side of the galaxy’s finest donut-gorgers. Its such a small change to the classic scheme but it makes them stand out immediately by empathizing the asymmetry of the base model. We really recommend clicking through to Harvey’s profile and checking out the full precinct shot.

Swan Boy 40k

Man these crossovers are getting more esoteric by the day. GW’s Brand Manager is on a wild one.
