The Week Ending November 30th 2019
Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed. Here’s what we liked this week:
In the Wild:
- The Independent Characters, Episode 197: Show of Force – Engines of Faith and Ruin
The Independent Characters Podcast
The ICs are back, and this week they’re talking about Imperial and Chaos Knights in an episode that clocks in around four hours. - Custom Teleportarium for Terminators Waiting to Deep Strike
Wyloch via r/Warhammer40k
We love this concept. It’s just incredibly cool and imaginative, and it’s a both a great diorama and a cool way to store your minis while they want to drop in and wreck face. - Vincent Venturella’s 2k army in 24 hours
@warhammerweekly via Twitter
The Ogors vincent spent 24 hours painting up look better than some of the things we’ve painted in the last 24 months. Just really impressive work. - 40K Stats Centre: The One Where We Load the Bases
40kstats via YouTube
We’ve long been fans of the work 40kstats does, and their weekly recap of competitive events and the meta for 40k are worth listening to. - Ray Dranfield’s Twitter
@raydranfield via Twitter
Every time a new terrain kit comes out, Ray’s Twitter feed immediately becomes a pro follow as he fills his posts with awesome tips, tricks, and hobby inspiration for using the new kits to build awesome stuff. - Warhammer 40k Open Day Previews
Warhammer Community
Lots of cool new previews yesterday, including an AdMech flyer, the Triumph of St. Katherine model, and set of upcoming animated series. We’re hype for all of it! - Coda’s Painting Stream
Twitch
Coda streams at weird hours owing to being in Australia, but it’s worth your time to stop in on his stream when you can. He recently did a near 24-hour marathon stream with the new Sisters of Battle box.
