The Week Ending October 25th, 2019

Although it’s a big internet out there, the Warhammer digital universe is pretty small and spread out. In Content We Liked, we take a look at the articles, videos, podcasts, and products that caught our eyes or were noteworthy during the prior week you might have missed. Here’s what we liked this week:

In the Wild:

  • Episode 59: Garbage, Air-Dropped From a Butt
    The 40kBadcast
Dan and SRM are back this week with a new episode of their podcast, taking about… *checks notes*… uh, The Brave Little Toaster. I’m sure there’s something worth listening to in there.
  • Raf Reviews Flick Fleet
    Ding & Dent
Goonhammer author Raf Cordero reviewed Flick Fleet over on his Ding & Dent gaming blog and it’s an interesting read. Mostly because I had no idea there were board games that used physical mechanics.
  • Michael Powers’ 3D-printed Arena Walls
40K Skirmish Community – Kill Team and More (Closed Facebook Group)
We’ve been thinking about modeled walls for Arena ever since it was released. Michael’s 3d-printed walls are absolutely perfect.
  • Dave Walker’s Seraphon Armies on Parade Board
    ‘Eavier Metal (Closed Facebook Group)

Dave somehow didn’t win best painted for this, but we think it looks absolutely fantastic and we love the water effects and the portal.

  • Coda’s Painting Stream
    Twitch
Coda streams at weird hours owing to being in Australia, but it’s worth your time to stop in on his stream when you can.

On Goonhammer:

Another week stuffed with content — I couldn’t even fit it all below! If there’s anything you missed, I’d recommend going back and reading it — it was all great stuff.
